Will These Bosses Activate Farm Code
I am finding some of these Bosses are takin Tons of times to kill before you get a green drop. (if any drop at all) Don't get me wrong they should be hard to get, but 16 times in a row and no drop WOW.
Anyone else finding this?

Every boss past Cavalon and Zu House.
If you read the Farming posts you'll see it's taking allot of people numerous meaning over 15 times and still no green drop.

Hmm. An entire party not getting a drop in 15 tries? That is a little worse than what I've experienced green farming in Tyria. But I also wouldn't swear that I've seen Wroth or Gargash or Boulderbeard drop a green in the last 15 times I've seen them die.

I’ve only had three drops, two bows where both the uber jin’s Bow. And daggers which I didn’t pick up my fault for not reading the green on green test well enough and getting back to them before a play out of spite ran in to town when everyone said hold on a second. But then all drop I have been seeing have gone down hill, I cleared 3 areas of the map just exploring killing everything in sight and I got one bow and 28 gp. None of the boss I have killed have dropped anything since.

I've been killing the Ritualist Construct boss just outside of waking waters. I'm not exaggerating here, I've killed it a good 30 times and he still hasn't dropped his wand yet.
Been playing factions for a month now. I play it everyday because I'm addicted. I've only had 1 green drop so far.

I was after Strongroot's Shelter, and repeatedly hit that boss with a [5/8] party as my monk. Didn't get anything for ages. Once my elementalist (which wasn't far behind) reached there, I killed it once (same party size), and it dropped. Just take breaks occassionally, play other characters, do some other things. Not only is it more fun, but the farming code resets.
As for the Rt Construct, whilst I was farming Strongroot, I never saw him drop his wand. Not even once. Must be a hard item to get, or one that's only available in the mission.

Does party size matter? Does who you bring into the battle also matter? I'm quite new to farming so I'll need all the help I can get.
I'm about to go insane. I probably spent 2 hrs today trying to get the wand.

Well I only got 2 factions greens so far for myself - and one was the Kaolin Wand from that Ritualist Constuct. But I came the other way, not from Unwaking Waters, and even with Henchies. So that thing does drop there, maybe you're just unlucky.

Why exactly? I didn't think that was an exceptionally good wand when I found it...

Hard to say but I just want it. There's something about it that was love at first sight.

The easiest way to get the green to drop is if u go solo and you look at the boss and see if it is wielding the green item. If not then dont expect a green drop. It is rare that they are weilding it and you cant tell on a lot of the bosses. And the bosses in explorable areas all can trigger farm code.

To the best of my knowledge:
-Farming ANY area repeatedly will trigger farm code. So if you kill, zone to town, kill, repeat, you will trigger code.
-Green drop % is very low. The ONLY green I have seen drop are the Daggers of Xuekao, and that's because I farmed them after a person on this site posted a guide. I soloed the boss and got the daggers once every 10 to 15 attempts, doing missions in between every so often.
-Henchies do not lower this %, but if the green should drop, they have the same chance of getting the drop as you do. And if it drops for a hench, of course, you will never see it.

The less people (hench especially, you can't see if it drops for one of them) you bring the better.
I spent 3 hours in a 4/8 farm with hench trying to get a Strongroot's, and got 2 Kaolin Wands in the process... it takes patience, but they do drop there.
Try doing 3-4 runs, then do another character in a different area (preferably storyline, just for more kill diversity), and then go back and do another 3-4

Again, going back to the Daggers of Xueako, I NEVER saw the boss carrying the daggers, just the same dirks every time, but he still occasionally dropped the green.

Not all bosses will show the green that they hold or any weapon/offhand/shield for that matter either. Having a keen eye can help and avoid unneeded killing of the boss so you dont trigger anti-farm.
For example: Strongroots shelter, you will not see the shield if he is carrying it. However you will notice the -2 damage in stance whenever he is in his primal rage stance. Say you are using a 55 necro with Spiteful spirit to kill him dealing 37 damage per action. He will take -35 damage from spiteful spirit while in primal rage if he is holding his green.
Another example: The warden mesmer boss outside altrumn ruins Milfaun I believe is his name. Was solo necroing the area outside there and ran into him and figured I could own him so i gave him a try. His green isn't anything you would notice ( no stunning graphic that sticks out.) While fighting him I get hit with a shatter enchant in like 10 seconds after the initial shatter and take -200 damage, alright no big deal im thinking shatter enchant has a 25 second recharge Ill just be more careful. Res at shrine and go back to try him again. Survive a few more shatters with the 25 second recharge rate and then his 20% faster recharge kicks in again and I take -212 damage on the shatter enchant which is obviously the +1 20% chance domination kicking in. I managed to get him down to 1/4 life and gave up after he DP'd me out . I would bet my entire account he would have dropped it, all the signals were there.
It's little things that will tell you if the boss is holding the green you are trying to get. Whether the boss is actually holding the skin, or getting the stats from its use while you are fighting. It can save you time with some of the green farms. However some of the other bosses with weapons that wont show you will have to slaughter them repeatedly until you get it.
If I'm farming a boss for a green and Know for certain there will be signals if the boss is holding the green item I'm hunting for I will rezone until the criteria are met, and then kill the boss when the signals are there for an easy green.

I think its just luck wether the boss drops or not. A guildie and I did about 18 runs of strongroot got 2 sheilds, a mate has done 50+ and no drop. Then we soloed Cultist Milthuran for his blood necro staff, dropped for me twice in 20 runs, hasnt dropped for guildie yet in 40+ runs Maybe its just luck but it hasnt been taking ages for the bosses to drop for me

Out of all the times i've snagged it off him he never showed it or any other type of weapon, or shield. He always gave the -35 damage giveaway while in stance.

I tried farming strongroots shelter. Must have done upwards of 150 tries before he dropped it. In that time, the Rit Construct dropped his green like 7 times.
